Securing the International Medical Center, Jeddah , Saudi Arabia

International Medical Center Nedap and its Saudi Arabia-based business partner SecuTronic are realizing a major security management project at the International Medical Center (IMC) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The IMC will be equipped with AEOS hands-free readers for comfortable yet secure access control. For this project, market-leading technology is combined with a great number of management features for a well guarded yet user friendly environment. The AEOS security solutions are web-based and use the hospitals IT infrastructure.

Key issues clinching the deal for AEOS included flexibility and reliability, and user comfort. "AEOS was the ultimate choice for this project because of its user friendliness, reading distances, and management functionality. AEOS offers the most modern technology in the field, as well as flexibility and a clear overview of all different security points and accesses." says SecuTronics' General Manager Jawad Ali.

IMC, www.imc.med.sa, is a 300-bed multidisciplinary hospital in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It is affiliated with the renowned Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio, USA. The hospital is currently under construction and expected to open in mid-2005.
