Nedap wins Anglo-Dutch Award for Enterprise

Nedap Great Britain Ltd. are proud to have received an award at the NBCC’s XXV Anglo-Dutch Awards for Excellence at the 115th annual lunch this November. The jury unanimously agreed that “Nedap has demonstrated enterprise in every aspect of its business; but above all through its market-led approach using its expertise and the latest techniques available”. Nedap’s Managing Director, Ruben Wegman, was the honoured recipient of the award, presented by Jeroen van der Veer, CEO of the Royal Shell plc, one of the largest Anglo-Dutch trading organisations. Alternating year by year between Britain and The Netherlands, this year’s lunch and award ceremony was held in Wassenaar’s ‘Castle de Wittenburg’, surrounded by parkland and ornamental ponds.

Aimed at promoting the possibilities and advantages of Anglo-Dutch trade and collaboration, the NBCC’s Anglo-Dutch Awards for Excellence were formally launched in 1981 during a time of economic depression. By recognising and applauding successful ventures in Anglo-Dutch trade, these awards were originally to work as an advertisement for the benefits that Britain and The Netherlands can offer each other in business. The NBCC has furthered the business and trading links between the two, there now being many high profile, successful Anglo-Dutch trading corporations.

Nedap’s innovative Anglo-Dutch trading strategy is a prime example of successful collaboration between Britain and The Netherlands, which has been recognised this year at the awards. As a Dutch manufacturer, Nedap design and produce top of the range security solutions. However, by using British business partners in the UK, Nedap’s unique approach combines British trade sense and business culture with Dutch solutions.  By valuing British input in the sales process, Nedap maximises the benefits to their products’ end-user. This is furthered by open ended technology, enabling Nedap’s AEOS solutions to be adapted for use with other systems’ technology, ensuring the greatest choice and convenience for the customer. Nedap’s business partners are chosen specifically for their expertise in other systems, so that the client benefits from the knowledge of both Nedap and their business partners, allowing seamless incorporation into the AEOS system.

Nedap’s recognition at the NBCC’s Anglo-Dutch Awards for Excellence show that Nedap’s innovative strategy pays off, and moreover, is of maximum benefit to the end-user.
