Nedap Security Management launches:
AEOS 2.1 A user-friendly system with different faces

Apparently a small step, but in reality a fundamental leap ahead. Nearly unlimited possibilities for integration and optimal convenience for the user of a security management system are within reach.

User-friendly and effective operation
In AEOS 2.1 the combination of innovative technology and user friendliness is further improved. AEOS 2.1 now offers the possibility to save your frequently used queries and your search-results will automatically be refreshed. The result screens are improved thoroughly and the error sensitivity is reduced considerably.
The new functionality “event action” enables the user to automate frequently used and time-critical actions. With this functionality, AEOS reduces the work pressure by taking care of specific actions itself based on free-programmable rules. Examples are: Automatic blocking of visitor badges after the last exit or automatic printing of presence lists at a (fire–) alarm.

AEOS faces
In AEOS 2.1 AEOS faces is introduced.
AEOS faces opens up the possibility to operate a security management system in a graphical way. Security systems shouldn’t be a limiting factor in the business processes any longer.
However, a seamless connection with business processes is only possible when AEOS supports the work of every single employee in an adequate and convenient way. The receptionist, the operator and everybody else who plays a part in access control of a company must be able to fulfill his or her tasks adequately and fast without influencing other tasks.

Smart integration with Message Mapping
AEOS 2.1 has a new category of behaviour components: Message Mapping AEbc’s.
The Message Mapper is used to translate and transmit commands from and to AEOS.
This makes it possible for system integrators to realize the integration with other devices in an easy way, such as an intrusion panel, an intercom or a videomatrix.
